Birgunj with the announcement of National Park, Parsa has begun to add investment to the business of hotels around the night. When Indu Wildlife Resort, in Parsa of Jhawraha was under its completion stage with the investment of 20 crore, another Resort launched in Amlekhganj of Bara with the investment of 5 crore.

Mohan Sharma, president of Bara hotel Business Association, has invested in the resort which was established by the name Elephant Village Resort. He also owned the Hotel New Sagun which is located in Simara of Bara. He said that the 8 acre area of land is capable of running a peaceful resort. Resort was opened in Amlekhganj, targeting the internal and external tourists in Parsa National Park.

 

Amlekhganj is the place from where the first railway station from India to Nepal has been started 150 years ago, still we can see a railway ticket counter on that place. We can show that place in an attractive way for tourist, said Mr. Sharma.

The touristal area around Amlekhganj should be identified and can be used as an attraction for the tourist, said by Mr. Sharma. He said seeing the beautiful and peaceful environment of forest of Parsa National Park, the resort of Amlekhganj was started a year earlier.

Sharma said, the resort will provide typical Nepali Dhido, Local Chicken and all other necessary food items in the resort.

The resort has constructed a marriage hall with the capability of 300 peoples and 10 cottages.

The hall can be used for marriage, meetings, conference and different other ceremony. It also provides the facility of Jungle Safari in Parsa National Park and the forest.
